Violeta Bogdanova
Violeta Bogdanova is a Senior Researcher at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Institute for Parallel Processing, Sofia, Bulgaria.
University Degree: Engineer of Automation, High Chemistry and Technology Institute, Sofia, Bulgaria, 1976.
Researcher in Radar Signal and Data Processing at the Institute of Special Electronics, Radar Department, Sofia, Bulgaria, 1989.
Senior Researcher in Radar Signal and Data Processing at the Institute for Parallel Processing, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Her professional experience and research interests are:
Mathematical models and software for different types of air-Defence & marine radar simulators; Multiple sensor data fusion algorithms and software for an air traffic control system; Probability Multi-Hypothesis Tracking algorithm and Expectation aximization method; Image processing.
She is a member of Bulgarian Automatic and Control Systems Society.
Iva Nikolova
Iva Nikolova is an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
She holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering. Since 2000 she has been teaching Computer Modeling, Computer Architectures, Architectures of Microprocessor Systems and Networks, Internet Technologies. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Technical University of Sofia, Computer Systems Department. Her current research interests are in the area of image processing and intelligent systems for security enhancement.
Todor Tashev
Todor Tashev is a PhD student at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Institute for Parallel Processing, Sofia, Bulgaria. He has been working in BAS since 1999 after defending his MSc in Computer Science and took part in several national and international research projects on e-business strategies and management, innovation management and etc.
During the past five years he has published 8 scientific articles and participated in 5 national and 3 international conferences. His current scientific areas of interests are Parallel Processing, Data Bases, Computer Architectures and Neural Networks.
Julia Zidarova
Julia Zidarova is a PhD student at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Institute for Parallel Processing, Sofia, Bulgaria. She is MSc in Computer Science and took part in several national and international research projects on e-business strategies and management, innovation management, etc.
During the past five years she has published 6 scientific articles and participated in 3 national and 3 international conferences. Her current scientific areas of interests are Databases, Computer Architectures and Reconfigurable Computing.
Milen Nikolov
Milen Nikolov was born in 1977. He received the Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) degree from the Technical University of Sofia, Exploiting of Avionics, 2001.
He is a PhD student at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – Institute for Parallel Processing.
His scientific areas of interest are Ultrasound Imaging, Signal Processing, Image Processing.
Dessislava Jordanova
Dessislava Jordanova was born in Sofia in 1979. He received the M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Sofia – English Language Department of Engineering and from the University of Veliko Turnovo in association with the Institute of Economics at BAS – Master’s course of Business Administration.
Her scientific areas of interest are Data Bases and e-commerce.
Stefan Angelov
Stefan Angelov was born in Sofia in 1982. He received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from the Technical University of Sofia in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Since July 2006 he is a Ph.D. Student at the Department of Electrical Drives Automation, Faculty of Automatics, Technical University of Sofia, with Prof. Borissov, Ph.D. supervisor. His research interests include Electrical Drives and Machine Automation, Industrial Engineering and Automation, Development of Data Bases for industrial applications.
